First projects

The partnership between the Loxam Group and Sectionmedia first started in 2008. The first project was the creation of a new website for the Belgian branch: www.loxam.be, launched in 2009.

Loxam's main requests towards Sectionmedia were initially for a more dynamic web experience, and the introduction of an online reservation system.

Following this, the Loxam Group started developing its online communication in cooperation with Sectionmedia:

• Newsletters to clients for new product launches and promotions
• Online advertising management via Google AdWords
• Search Engine Optimization with a view to improving site visits

With positively measurable results, the Belgian website became the most profitable of the Group.

Loxam then decides to entrust Sectionmedia with the launch of new versions of the Loxam Switzerland site, and the site for the sector-specific "Loxam Power" (energy supply specialists for Industry and Construction).

End 2009 the "Loueurs de France" division joins the Sectionmedia portfolio, with the entire management of its online communication.

As of July 2010, the Loxam Group further strengthens its relations with Sectionmedia by handing over the following sites:

• Loxam Access (elevating equipment) for France, Ireland and Great Britain
• Loxam Module (modular construction)
• Loxam Spain

Global portal

August 2010 is strategically important, as following Sectionmedia's advice, the new general Home Page of the Loxam Group is launched, with an objective of centralizing all Group sites and redirecting users to the large number of existing Loxam websites: www.loxam.com
